BBC orchestra comes to PGHS (by Sarah Harrison S3)

A selection of instrumentalists from our school had the opportunity to participate in the BBC 10 Piece Project. This involved working with players from the BBC National Orchestra who held a question and answer session, a master class with two senior pupils and rehearsals to perfect our chosen pieces. This was an once-in-a-lifetime experience and I can guarantee that everyone involved has come out with a better understanding of classical music and with inspiration for the future.
